  • DAY 1
    Cairo Int. Airport – Cairo ON

    Your Egypt tour begins at your chosen hotel in Cairo. A private transfer by an A-C van from Cairo International Airport to your hotel in Cairo is included. Since most of the international flights arrive into Egypt between 03:00 PM and 11:00 PM (local time), you might need to consider travelling to Egypt a day early and arrange pre-stay in Cairo to ease the effects of jet lag before the first day of sightseeing on your Egypt tour begins. A very nice room is ready to host you during your first night in Cairo. [No Meals]

  • DAY 2
    Full Day Pyramids – Cairo ON

    (After breakfast) GAT Tours’ Egyptologist tour guide will meet your at the lobby of your hotel in order to accompany you in such an awe-inspiring tour to Pyramids of Giza "Khufu, Khafre & Menkaure", where the greatness has been embodied in three pyramids with a limestone statue of Sphinx guarding the whole area. After that you will proceed to the city of Sakkara, where you will be so excited by exploring The Step Pyramid of king Djoser. This pyramid has a very nice story, when king Djoser asked his chief Architect Imhotep to create something different, so that the king could be buried at. As a result the well known Architect creates the Step pyramid, which surprised the king so much since it was considered to be a new achievement in this period. Drive towards Memphis, the city which was the first capital of the united Egypt. After finishing your day tour, you will revert back to your hotel for rest & refresh.     Cairo City Tour – Train to Aswan

    Breakfast at your hotel by 08:30 AM. After that you will be met with GAT Tours’ Egyptologist tour guide, who will accompany you in such a stunning tour. Your tour today is completely different and more excited, as the best of our monuments are awaiting you. Start your tour with The Egyptian Museum, which is considered to be one of the most important museums housing the Pharaonic monuments including the unique collection of the young king Tutankhamon. Later on, you will be transferred to have your Lunch meal. After Lunch, you will be transferred to Old Cairo area, where you can visit Citadel of Salah El-Din, which played as a very important role in protecting Egypt, as it was considered the seat of power for more than 700 years. What about doing shopping between the gold & silver at one of the most famous bazaars, Khan El-Khalili Bazaars, which consider as one of the stunning bazaars in the Middle East! After finishing your day tour, you will be transferred to Giza train station, in order to travel towards Aswan via an A-C 1st class sleeper train. Dinner and overnight on board. [B, L, D]

  • DAY 4
    Aswan – Abu Simbel – Aswan ON

    Breakfast meal will be served on board. Your A-C train arrives to Aswan train station at approx. 08:35 AM. Upon arrival to Aswan train station, you will be met and greet by our English-speaking tour leader, who will transfer you by private A-C van to Abu Simbel. Upon arrival, you will proceed to explore Abu Simbel Temples in a very unique way. Sun rays are covering king Ramses' face with awe-inspiring sense of greatness. What a genius architect who designed for this event! The city of Abu Simbel lies south of Aswan on the western bank of the Nile, 180 miles south of the First Cataract in what was Nubia. As you can see there is two temples were built in this area. The biggest one was called as the Great temple. It was built by king Ramses II and being dedicated to the famous god Rahorakhty. While the second one is called The Smaller temple and it was dedicated to king Ramses II and his beautiful wife queen Nefertari. After finishing your unique tour, you will be reverting back to Aswan (distance takes approx. 03 hours). Arrive Aswan and proceed to your hotel in Aswan. Check in, rest and refresh. At night, free at leisure on your own in Aswan to discover the small city. Get back to your hotel for overnight. [B]

  • DAY 5
    Aswan City Tour – Aswan ON

    Breakfast and check out from your Aswan hotel. Later on, you will be met with our tour leader, who will transfer you by private A-C van to your fabulous Nile cruise ship. Check in before 12:00 PM. At the beginning you will have your Lunch meal on board. After Lunch, you will be transferred to visit The High Dam, which has been erected by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. Your second visit will be to Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Gaeco-Roman period and was dedicated to goddess Isis. At last you will be escorted to visit The Unfinished Obelisk, which was erected by Queen Hatshepsut and was dedicated to the most famous god Amon-Ra. Finally you will return to your ship. At night "OPTIONAL sound and light show at Philae temple". Get back to your ship, dinner and overnight in Aswan. [B, L, D]

    Kom Ombo – Edfu – Esna ON

    What a pretty morning while enjoying the sun rise on board your Nile cruise ship! Today & after breakfast we will take you in a mysterious journey to land of secrets. This guided tour of today begins by visiting one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped for a while. Get back to your ship and enjoy your lunch on the sun deck, watching the unique landscape of the great river Nile. On its banks the ancient Egyptian civilization has been created & flourished. Afternoon, enjoy chariot riding to Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is considered to be one of the most well preserved temples in Egypt. Finally, you will return to your ship. Sail to Esna, cross the lock and sail to Luxor. Dinner will be served on board your ship. Enjoy your night time with Egyptian Folkloric Show "Galabeya Party".     Luxor West Bank – Luxor ON

    (Morning time – at approx. 06:00 AM), free at leisure in Luxor "OPTIONAL Hot Air Balloon riding over the west bank of Luxor can be offered upon request". After that you will start your magical tour in Thebes, the sacred land. As today to will explore Valley of the Kings & Queens, which considers as the royal cemetery of the Theban kings & queens of ancient Egypt, and the place where our Pharaohs were buried. After that, you will proceed to visit the most impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This temple is considered as one of the most wonderful examples of the Architecture in ancient Egypt, because it was totally carved inside the mountain. What a genius architect who do this?! At the end of the tour, you will return to your ship to enjoy your lunch meal on board. Then Afternoon tea will be served on board your ship.     Luxor East Bank – Flight to Sharm El Sheikh

    Arrange your luggage, don’t waste the time and be ready at about 08:30 AM, as you will leave your Nile cruise after having this breakfast! After that you will enjoy your tour discovering the East Bank of Luxor, including the most wonderful Karnak temples, which is considered to be the biggest complex construction in the world covering an area of a hundred. Finish your lovely tour in Temple of Luxor, built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty & completed by the well know king Ramses II (from the 19th Dynasty). After finishing your day tour, you will be met with our representative in Luxor, who will transfer you by private A-C van to Luxor Int. Airport in order to catch your domestic flight to fly toward Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival to Sharm El Sheikh Int. airport, you will be met with our representative there who will transfer you to your hotel for check in, Dinner and overnight. [B, D]

    Free at leisure – Sharm El Sheikh ON

    Enjoy your breakfast between the wonderful landscape of the red sea. Later on, you have a free day at leiusre in Sharm El Sheikh.   • DAY 12
    St. Cathrine Tour – Ferry Boat to Aqaba

    Arrive to St. Cathrine by 01.00 AM, where you will start your fascinating tour by climbing Moses Mountain. Reach the top of the mountain by the course of the morning (at approx. 05.00 AM), when you can watch the attractive view of sunrise. After that wonderful natural scene, you will start descending. Have a short break till the opening time of the marvelous tour inside The Monastery of St. Catherine, which is considered to be one of the well-known Christian monasteries in Egypt. After that, you will drive back towards Nuweiba in order to carch your ferry boat to Aqaba/Jordan. Evening time arrival to Aqaba Port, You will be met by our representative in Jordan, who will transfer you by an A-C van to your choen hotel in Aqaba for check in and overnight. [B]

    Aqaba – Wadi Rum Tour & ON

    Free morning in Aqaba city, with its splendid weather during more than eight months of the year, allow you to enjoy sailing, water skiing, and swimming. Diving and snorkeling will certainly fulfill your heart's delight, as you spot the colorful and varied marine life in the Red Sea. You could choose from a variety of optional day tours depending on your taste.
    In the afternoon we will set out for the desert of Wadi Rum, the wild desert landscape, which fascinated the British liaison officer Lawrence of Arabia. Describing Wadi Rum as "vast, echoing and god-like" we believe he could not have said it better. We will drive for two hours in a 4-wheel drive jeep through the desert to see Lawrence’s spring. We will pass majestic mountains and explore a gorge with some ancient rock drawings. Then we drive to your camp where you will have BBQ dinner and overnight in a Bedouin Tent. [B, D]

  • DAY 14
    Shobek Castle – Little Pertra & ON

    After breakfast at the Bedouin Camp we drive to Shobek Castle, which was built by Baldwin I of Jerusalem. Inside the fortress are two churches, ruins of baths, cisterns, archways and old Islamic inscriptions. Brave people can climb the 300 steps down in a well. We will then continue towards little Petra. This was inhabited by the Nabataean and has many tombs, water containers and channels. The scale of this area and the fact that it is a continuation of Petra, gave it the name of little Petra. You will then be transported to Petra and assist with checking you into your hotel. [B]

  • DAY 15
    Full Day Petra Visit & ON

    After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin to explore the Red Rose City Petra. First established sometime around the 6th century BC by Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Despite successive attempts by the Seleucid king Antigonus, the Roman emperor Pompey and Herod the Great to bring Petra under the control of their respective empires, Petra remained largely in Nabataean hands until around 100AD, when the Romans took over. It was still inhabited during the Byzantine period, when the former Roman Empire moved its focus east to Constantinople, but declined in importance thereafter. The Crusaders constructed a fort there in the 12th century, but soon withdrew, leaving Petra to the local people until the early 19th century, when it was visited by the Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. Upon arrival you will begin an unforgettable trip on horseback to the Siq and then by foot until you reach the Treasury. The local guide will give a brief history of the city. You will also see Pharaoh's Castle, the Triumphal Arch, the Amphitheater and Monastery before returning to your hotel. [B]

  • DAY 16
    Kerak – Mount Nebo – Madaba

    Morning time, we leave Petra toward Amman city. Your first visit is to Kerak Castle. Kerak, (krakmoba) (kier Moab) the ancient, biblical capital of the Moabites, which the bible mentioned several times and it become will known for the visitors for the famous crusaders castle that was built in 1132/34 by the famous king Baldwin the first of Jerusalem, visiting the castle and enjoy the amazing undergrounds halls, and the Castle museum.
    We will then continue towards Mount Nebo along the famous ancient biblical caravan route know as the king's way. We will take a short stop at Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley who's magnificent geological formation will take your breath away, In Mount Nebo there is a Memorial for Musa (Moses) and a 4th century church which Italian Franciscan priests excavated and restored in 1933. The panoramic view overlooks the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem. In the Bible story, Moses does not ever arrive at the Promised Land, but he is able to see it from a distance before he dies. It is from Mount Nebo that one can see it in the distance (on a clear day). It is also believed that this is the burial place of Moses.
    Your next stop is Madaba, where the St George's Greek Orthodox Church has a famous mosaic on the floor. Made during the 6th century AD, the mosaic shows the pilgrimage from the surrounding areas to the Holy Land. You can even find Egypt on this map!
    Late Afternoon, arrival in Amman and time to get situated in your hotel. [B]

  • DAY 17
    Amman City Tour – Dead Sea – QAI Airport

    After breakfast, you will enjoy a city tour in Amman, the capital, a safe, friendly, and modern city. Above the city, the ancient Citadel listens as Amman reveals its past. Known in the Old Testament as Rabbath Ammon and in Greco-Roman times as Philadelphia, you will visit the Amphitheater & Jordan Folklore Museum, King Abdullah Mosque and the Citadel (The Byzantine Church, The Temple of Hercules and The Umayyad Palace complex).
    We will then return tour our car and drive to the Dead Sea.
